Course Spotlight: Take a closer look at Design Elements: 3D and Portfolio Presentation as part of the Visual Communications Associate in Applied Science Program at Katharine Gibbs School New York.
VC130 Design Elements 3D This course, which follows Design
Elements 2D, covers the basic principles of three-dimensional form and
the ability to apply these principles to design solutions in the third
dimension. Students will explore how principles of composition are used
and manipulated when applying two-dimensional graphic design onto a
three-dimensional form. Students in this course will also examine
different methods of producing a 3D model or comp.
VC250 Portfolio Presentation Instruction in the final
preparation and presentation of the individual student portfolio will
be taught in this course to help students entering the visual
communications field prepare for the marketplace. Presentation
techniques, resume preparation, and continued portfolio review and
critiques will be emphasized in the course.
